UNGARI MAAKONNARÄNDEFESTIVAL

 I would like to inform you that in 2025 the festival has moved to a new festival center, the city is called Mórahalom.
Festival Centre – Szilágyi Mihály Hostel – Mórahalom, Szilágyi street 2.

We are organizing festivals on 8 dates, 7 dates in Mórahalom and one date in Makó. We will be in Makó for one more date in 2025, but after that only Mórahalom from 2026.
This accommodation center reflects the modern accommodation of the time.
There is central air conditioning throughout the entire building, so each room can be controlled separately. 2 + 2 rooms and TV inside the rooms, each room has a shower and toilet, refrigerator and cabinets.

In 2026 we will organize 3, 4 and 7 night festivals. We can host three groups on one dates with a total of 120-140 people.

Folklore groups, orchestras, majorettes, music bands from all over the world. • Everything to do with dance and music…
The number of the participants are not limited.
No age limits. Adult, young and children ensembles are welcome.
Family members and friends may join this folklore festival and travel to Hungary for the same price.
Participation fee: – 3 nights – 140 euros/person/festival – (Arrival Monday afternoon, departure Thursday morning)
Participation fee: – 4 nights – 165 euros/person/festival – (Arrival Thursday afternoon, departure Monday morning)

Participation fee: – 7 nights – 295 euros/person/festival – (Two festivals in one – arrive Monday afternoon and depart Monday morning or arrive Thursday afternoon and depart Thursday morning)
Tourist tax: 2 euro/person/day.
200 euro deposit must be given to the festival director upon arrival. If any damage occurs at the end of the festival, this amount will be used to pay for it. If there is no damage, the full amount will be refunded upon departure.
Meals: hot buffet lunch, three meals a day, in the SPA (Cserkezőlő) a sandwich is served for lunch.
On arrival, the hot dinner costs 18 euros/person – ordering is optional.
On departure, the hot breakfast costs 18 euros/person – ordering is optional.
Hungarian bus: – 3 night – (if they arrive by plane) – 3600 euró/Bus – 1 bus maximum 50 person.
Hungarian bus: – 4 night – (if they arrive by plane) – 4600 euró/Bus – 1 bus maximum 50 person.
Hungarian bus: – 7 night – (if they arrive by plane) – 6600 euró/Bus – 1 bus maximum 50 person.
The cost of the bus is paid by the group. The bus can only be used within the framework of the festival program and only the Hungarian festival bus can be used, independent organization is not possible.
Parking the bus during the festival is FREE.
In case of unexpected circumstances or Force Majeure, the organizer reserves the right to change the date of the event or to postpone it for the next year, in this case, the costs already paid are not refunded, but can be used in the following year.
In the case if the group deleted the participation at the festival after the deposit payment, the deposit will not be paid back, but if the group comes in 2027 to the festival, then the deposit will be calculated into the the amount. If the group will not come in 2027, then the deposit will be lost.
Travel:
The costs of travel to the festival and back to your home are charged on the group.
During the Festival you might need to travel around 300-600 km altogether. To be able to drive it without violating the regulation on tachographs and driver’s working hours, please consider arriving with two bus drivers.
Pre-arranged performances cannot be cancelled due to exceeding the driver’s official working hours!
Performances:
Performances with live and music recorded on USB are both allowed.
The County-Wandering Festival organises 2-3-4-5 performance opportunities where the groups are obliged to attend and give a minimum 15 – maximum 20-minute show.

LISAVÕIMALUSED

ZOO:
The zoo with the largest land area in Hungary has been receiving visitors since 1989. However, the animal collection offers exciting encounters, as visitors can see several true curiosities along with zoo favourites, such as lions, giraffes, meerkats, and Asian elephants (the latter from May 2018). The entrance fee is 20 euro/person.

Wine tasting: - Mórahalom
5 different wine types will be tasted during this event, these wines are from 5 regions of Hungary. You can also taste a real Hungarian speciality which is eaten for this occasion, it is bread and dripping with onion. You will receive the invoice from the festival if you need. The entrance fee is 25 euro/person.

Szeged is the third largest city of Hungary, the largest city and regional centre of the Southern Great Plain and the county seat of Csongrád county.
Population: 160.000 person. A 2 hours sightseeing by walk, You can get acquainted with the county town of Csongrád county. The entrance fee is 300 euro/group.

Cruise on the Tisza river in Szeged:
The entrance fee is 500 euro/group.
The 45 minumte cruise departing from the Roosevelt Square harbor in Szeged takes passengers past the center of Szeged, touching the Belvárosi Bridge and the Bertalan Bridge to the mouth of the Maros where it turns around and returns to the place of departure after the flood memorial and Boszorkány Island. The ship is a 100-seat water bus named Hegyalja, consisting of 2 airspaces. The ship is covered with windows that can be opened on the sides.

Puszta Programme in Bugac:
ADULT: The entrance fee is 35 euro/person.
Children: The entrance fee is 25 euro/person – child price up to 14 years old.
Puszta Programme in Bugac a special horse-riding show of 30 minutes.
Stud Presentation, Horse herders procession, The show of the Puszta Five, Skill show by the horsemen: Horse laying and sitting, Puszta armchair, Test of strengths, sitting down at the table, Cracking the whip, Mother-in-law beating and horsemen competitions. A show by Anti the donkey, Bugac stud galloping. Puszta Programme in Bugac a special horse-riding show of 30 minutes and a delicious lunch of tipical Hungarian dishes.
